Forget “Size 0″ for Fashion Week!
It’s fun to check out the trends–and the looks that make you go “Yikes!”–but one thing we find a little annoying is seeing the clothes on a bunch of super-thin models (We get the same effect from a hanger, thanks.). That’s why we’re pumped for Full-Figured Fashion Week in New York City. Yup, such a thing actually exists!
This June, designers will showcase their plus-size lines and attend panels that help them network with buyers and retailers. A group of stylish ladies founded Full-Figured Fashion Week last year, not only to “ooh” and “ahh” over the clothes, but to remind retailers that stylish plus-size clothes are on the market and in demand.
This year is the second annual event, and if it’s anything like last year’s it will be pretty fabulous.

Style is in the air in the fashion capitals of the world. Tons of big name designers displayed their Spring collections on the runway last week for New York Fashion week, and London is celebrating their Fashion Week until February 24.
