My best friend is all about cuteness in design: Any craft she knits is possibly embellished with well-placed daisies or tulips, or some other fabulous floral motif.

Lucky for her, she’s just become on-trend. (Not that she was EVER off!) This season, all of my look books show impressionistic floral prints and appliqué accents.

It seems to me flowers are in full bloom this season. They’re great for all shapes, and brightly colored flowers enliven winter’s darker, neutral shades. Yay for unseasonal spring!
