What To Do When You Feel Sore After A Workout

Okay, so you’ve done the hard part: you went to the gym, you exercised, you felt good. And you’re rewarded with…waking up the next day in pain. Your muscles are sore from doing exercises they’re not used to, and the soreness usually goes away in time, but what are you supposed to do in the meantime?

Fitsugar.com has a great post about Preventing the Hurt After the Burn. One of their tips is: “Don’t Skip the Warm-up Even if you’re fit and have been exercising your whole life, you still need to warm up before working out. Before running, swimming, biking, or another type of cardio, do a light version of your workout for five minutes. Also warm up before strength training with five minutes of light cardio. Warmed up muscles are less apt to tear.”
