Sweat To The Oldies With Classic Workout Videos

Grab your leg warmers and throw a scrunchie in your hair because we have some super cheesy 80s workout videos to get you moving (no VCR required).

ThatsFit.com turned us onto a few cheese-packed retro aerobics routines complete with all the essentials: leotards, sweatbands and over-the-top enthusiasm.

There are even more old school workout videos on YouTube, including plenty of parodies by teens. Here are some of our favorite spoofs:


What time is it? Hammer time! Raise the roof and shake your booty with Chrissy and Randie. We were cracking up over the girls’ silly routine and the barking dogs that had no idea what all the excitement was about.


Megan and Allison came up with a fun exercise routine that’s easy to learn. You gotta love how they say each move as they’re doing it, too (“Crazy legs! Crazy legs!”)


Despite the girls’ goofy wigs, “Twisha’s 80′s Workout Video” actually isn’t a bad workout. These girls do stretches, lunges, and run in place without losing an ounce of energy.


We give these kids major props for this routine. The choreography is creative and their energy makes you want to get up and dance along with them.
